Rain hail or shine! Hands down the best getaway on the river. Beautiful house in an amazing area. Great fishing straight from the back yard. Highly recommended this beautiful house with so much character and charm.

Right from the start it went well communicating with Mark about the booking prompt, friendly and efficient. When I arrived a bottle of Non-alcoholic Red Wine was waiting for me due to a passing comment I'd made to the caretaker a few days earlier about celebrating my 50th and being a non drinker. The home welcomes you it's warm, inviting, charming and the owners pass on a trust to all their visitors by leaving little eclectic treasures all around the home. I celebrated my 50th here with with my fur baby, friends and family from 9 months to 76 years and everyone loved it and no one wanted to leave. I have already booked to come back in February and cant wait to make more memorable memories. Just a note the cutlery is in the kitchen island we didn't see the note until the last day and we all thought it was odd there was no spoons but everything else you could possibly want Lol. Thanks so much for opening this beautiful home to us

Had a really great weekend here. Great location by the river. Very cosy. Would definitely stay again.

Now when I comes to holiday accommodation I am a fussy bugger and this place was quite incredible. Great location, clean, warm, well equipped and accomodating in every way! Easy booking system and great meet and greet on arrival. They really though about everything!

Once again we had a great stay at Mark's Place. It's got all you want plus the views and the jetty. Pity about the golf.

We just love this place, the house is lovely , cosy , clean and welcoming, we love to sit by the river watching the world go buy, you can drop a line and have a fish, or crabbing if its the season, its a little piece of paradise !!!!!!! or simply do absolutely nothing and chill with a glass of wine and a pizza as it now has a pizza oven ! winning . .

A fantastic getaway so close to the city. Being able to sit and relax overlooking the river was beautiful. Dolphins, bird life, it was extremely peaceful. Fire pit at night. Really enjoyed the whole experience, thank you. A little piece of heaven, will definitely go again.

An amazing warm home , we celebrated our dedication ceremony with our closest friends and family here and IT WAS PERFECT.
The house has a beautiful cottage feel with fully furnished living and sleeping, lounge, tv and wifi a kitchen equipped with all needed to entertain and feed a tribe. The rear verandah with its draping vine leant itself to our ceremony photos perfectly. Even our dog had an amazing time protecting the rear yard from intruding ducks and the like. The 6 kids all had plenty to do wether paddling a canoe across river to fetch milk from the cafe or fishing from the private enclosed boat house. And fish they caught one after another.
A beautiful family holiday home, we will book again.

Character and charm and located directly on the river with private jetty.

River front brilliant. Front verandah great for meals and chatting. Crabbing and fishing, even though we didn't keep any, was great for children. Double beds very good, single beds not so good. Kitchen and house well supplied. Too much clutter in house but interesting. Boat rides on the river and estuary magnificent. Over all every one loved every minute
